After another traditional first warm spring weekend gang killing spree Chicago, a city that has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation is again calling for more intrusive gun laws.
It boggles the mind that this state, one of only two that has no provisions for carry and conceal, and this city that outright bans all hand guns is going to make it tougher on law abiding citizen to defend themselves while doing little to deter actual gun toting criminals.
A simple comparison with states and cities that allow their citizens to carry and conceal and own and use firearms to protect their person, family, home and property shows proof positive that crime is lower than cities with tough gun laws.
